Our story

Rebulk was founded in Kansas City by Warren Wang, Co-Founder and CEO, and Cole Robertson, Co-Founder and CTO.

We started Rebulk because we kept seeing the same problem over and over again: rail and bulk operations move, store, maintain, and track enormous amounts of physical freight, but much of the work behind it still runs on spreadsheets, paper tickets, phone calls, and disconnected legacy systems.

Warren saw it firsthand while leading logistics products for farms, feed suppliers, and other businesses moving bulk commodities. When loads, inventory, paperwork, and billing all have to stay in sync, even small gaps in information create real problems fast — inventory discrepancies, missed handoffs, billing mistakes, delayed reporting, and a lot of time spent figuring out what actually happened.

Cole came at it from the technical side. Before Rebulk, he built aviation products at Garmin and was recognized by the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum for his contributions to Autoland. He later became a Founding Engineer and then Head of Engineering at a seed-stage AI startup.

Together, we saw the same pattern across rail and bulk operations. These businesses run complex physical workflows involving railcars, trucks, tracks, equipment, maintenance, inventory, documents, customers, and billing, but the software connecting it all has not kept up.

That's why we built Rebulk.

What we build

Rebulk is AI-native software for managing rail, transload, and bulk operations. Today, we build software across Transload Operations, Rail & Asset Maintenance, Automated Industrial Rail Switching, Railcar Track & Trace, and Bulk Inventory Scanning.

Our transload software manages railcar and truck movements, inventory, BOLs, scale tickets, customer reporting, storage, dwell, and billing. Our rail software helps teams manage inspections and maintenance, preventive maintenance, yard checks, track occupancy, switch planning, railcar movements, and network visibility. And our bulk inventory technology uses phones, drones, LiDAR, and computer vision to measure materials that are difficult to track with traditional inventory systems.

Built around your operation

AI is built directly into the work. Rebulk can read data and documents from photos, texts, emails, and uploads, turn them into structured records, and automate reporting, customer updates, and repetitive workflows.

And because no two businesses run exactly alike, we build Rebulk around how each customer actually works — their tracks, scales, equipment, commodities, paperwork, customers, billing rules, QA requirements, and workflows — instead of forcing them to change how they operate to fit their software.
