## The feel

Rebulk is the system of record for material that never fit a barcode — dry and liquid bulk, railcars, scale tickets, yards. The brand should feel like the yard on a good day: everything counted, nothing dramatic. The logo is the smallest part of that.

One record

Operations and billing read from the same row. Everything we design, write, and ship should make that single record more obvious, not add a second place to look.

Measured, not estimated

A number without a method is a guess with confidence. When we publish accuracy, we publish how it was captured and how far off it can be — that honesty is the product.

Yard language

We write the way the plant talks. A LiDAR flow scanner is not a belt scale, a railcar is not a unit, and demurrage is not a fee. Precision in the vocabulary is a proxy for precision in the software.

Navy ground, one gold

The palette is one dark ground and one accent. Gold is scarce on purpose: it marks the single thing on the screen or page that deserves attention.

Show the real screen

Product imagery is screenshots of the product with real data shapes — railcar IDs, ticket numbers, dates that fall on weekdays. No illustrated dashboards, no invented charts.

Cite the number

Our public data is anchored, copyable, and free to quote with attribution. Making it easy to credit us is cheaper than asking to be credited.

## The mark

The R monogram. The gold wedge is the pile; the void cut through it is the scan reading it. It ships in two inks — navy for light surfaces, white for dark — and because that void is knocked out rather than filled, the mark needs a surface chosen for it rather than whatever happens to sit behind it.

App icon. The mark on a white rounded tile. Use this — never the bare mark — anywhere the background is a photograph, a video, or out of our control, because the R's counter is knocked out and will show whatever sits behind it.

## The wordmark

The mark set with the word. This is the default lockup — use it in headers, footers, sponsor rows, and anywhere the bare R would read as a stray letter. Below roughly 90px wide, drop to the mark alone.

Navy — on light surfaces

The wordmark is drawn artwork, not type. Setting the word “Rebulk” in Roboto gets you close and is still wrong — it loses the wedge and the tightened letterfit. Use the file: SVG for anything that scales, PNG at 2400px where vector isn't accepted.

## Social squares

1000×1000 PNGs for profile photos, app listings, conference directories, and anywhere a platform rejects SVG or crops to a circle. The mark sits at 60% of the frame so a circular crop never clips it.

## Color

One ground and one accent. Navy carries the whole system — it is the page on dark surfaces and the ink on light ones — and gold is the only color that ever competes with it. Click any value to copy it.

### Ground

Navy#020618Dark page ground. Also the ink for headlines and body copy on light surfaces.Panel#0F1729Cards, rails, and panels sitting on navy — and the ink in the logo artwork itself.Line#1D293DBorders and dividers on navy.Mist#F1F5F9Panels and quiet sections on white.

### Accent

Gold#FDC11AThe only accent. Primary buttons, the wedge in the mark, the one number that matters. If two things on a screen are gold, one of them is wrong.

### Type color

Slate#62748ESecondary and supporting text on light surfaces.Salt#EDF2FAMaterial white. Body copy on navy where opacity isn't available — print, PowerPoint, PDF.

On the web, text on navy is white at reduced opacity rather than a separate color: 100% for headlines, 70% for body, 60% for captions and metadata. Flatten those to #B3B4BA and #9A9BA3 when you need solid values.

## Typography

Roboto, everywhere. It holds up at the sizes this industry actually reads at — small, dense, and full of reporting marks and car numbers — so one face carries the whole site. The only other type is a monospace, and only for figures.

The source of truth for bulk operations

Roboto Regular carries body copy. Headlines are Bold with tight tracking; nothing in between earns its place, so we skip the intermediate weights rather than build a ladder nobody uses.

- Roboto — headlines, body, UI, and every piece of collateral. Available from Google Fonts.
- Monospace — railcar marks, ticket numbers, weights, and anything a reader will compare down a column. Numbers that line up are easier to trust.
- Sentence case — headings and buttons. No all-caps except the small tracked labels above a section.

## Imagery

Two kinds of picture, and nothing else: the material where it actually sits, and the product screen that measured it.

![A phone scanning a stockpile on site](https://rebulk.com/_next/image?url=%2Fhow-it-works-mobile-scan.jpg&w=1920&q=75&dpl=dpl_8Ew6T9tu4Dd3SVVfPsxQaFRznR2X)

On site: real material, working light, hands in frame.

![Rebulk demurrage and billing screen](https://rebulk.com/_next/image?url=%2Frail-transload-billing-demurrage.png&w=1920&q=75&dpl=dpl_8Ew6T9tu4Dd3SVVfPsxQaFRznR2X)

Product: the light UI, framed on navy, with real data shapes.

- Photograph the site as it is. Dust, weather, a loader mid-pass, a hose connection being made — those read as true; a spotless staged yard reads as stock.
- Screenshots keep the product's own light interface and get framed on navy rather than recolored to match a slide.
- No boxes, pallets, or barcode guns. If a picture would work just as well for a parcel warehouse, it is the wrong picture.
- Anything not in production ships with a Concept label, in the image, not the caption.

## Voice

Our readers are plant managers, terminal supervisors, and traffic teams who have been sold software before. They reward specifics and discount adjectives.

- Name the unit. “Within a few percent on a single lap of the pile” beats “highly accurate.” If a claim has no number attached, it is decoration.
- Use the industry's word, not ours. Demurrage, constructive placement, transload, BOL, scale ticket, switch list. We do not coin terms for things that already have names.
- “Bulk materials” is the category. Rebulk is the operating system for bulk materials. The qualifier stays when the sentence would otherwise describe generic inventory software.
- Say what it does. Plain verbs — measure, track, reconcile, bill. No transforming, empowering, revolutionizing, or unlocking.
- Never at anyone else's expense. We describe our own product and cite public data. We do not characterize how anyone else runs their operation.

## Guidelines

The short list. Most of it comes down to one thing: use the shipped file, at a size where it still reads.

1. Clear space. Keep at least a quarter of the mark's height empty on every side. The shipped mark file already includes it, so don't crop the file down to the artwork. Nothing crosses it — no rules, no photo edges, no partner logo crowding the lockup.
2. Minimum size. The mark holds down to 20px on screen and 8mm in print; the wordmark to 90px and 25mm. Below that the wedge closes up and the counter fills in.
3. Spelling. Always “Rebulk” — one word, one capital. Never REBULK, ReBulk, Re-Bulk, or rebulk in running copy. The domain is rebulk.com.
4. Don't redraw it. No gradients, drop shadows, outlines, rotation, or stretching. The R is navy or white; the wedge is gold; there is no third option, including all-gold and all-black.
5. Pick the right surface. Navy mark on light, white mark on dark. Over a photograph or anything busy, use the app icon tile instead — the counter is transparent and will pick up whatever is behind it.

## Boilerplate & facts

Copy for the bottom of a release, a conference program, or a partner listing. Everything here is cleared for publication.

### One line

Rebulk is the operating system for bulk materials.

### Short

Rebulk is the operating system for bulk materials. Its Bulk Inventory System measures what is on the ground using cameras, LiDAR, and computer vision, and its Transload Operating System turns railcars, bills of lading, scale tickets, and demurrage into billing-ready records — so operations and billing read from the same source of truth.
